Hi, my name is: LEIA
I am a/an: Black Lab
I weigh: 50 lbs
I was born 2/12/2014
My Adoption Fee is: $250

My History: My true history is unknown. All that is known is that i was an owner surrender at a shelter that sadly was not equipt to handle special needs dogs, I am BLIND. Valhalla Rescue heard that I might die in the shelter and raced to save me and help me find a new forever home.

My Health: I am very healthy overall. I and blind and I had a aural hematoma when I arrived, but that is all better now. My blindness is not an issue, once I have had a good chance to map out my surroundings. I am microchipped, Spayed and updated on all my vaccines.

My personality: I love people and am good with other cats and dogs, although when its time to eat, I prefer to eat alone. Since I am blind I dont want to feel like I have to compete with others for my meal.
I LOVE to go for walks and car rides and sniffing new things is so much fun. Evenings on the couch or snoozing with my family is absolutely the best.

My wish list: i just want a family, a home, people who will love me and give me the security I dream of so much. I promise to wait patiently for you to come home and show you all sorts of love when you come thru the door. When you spend your time with me, I will give you the best love and be your best friend.
I am learning how to interact well with other dogs but I would prefer a home that had a calm dog like me that was not too rambunctious or large. I really enjoy sitting with people I trust. I would love to have a home that could spend as much time with me as possible and make me a very important part of their family. I do require a little bit of extra attention because of my needs, but overall I’m really an easy dog and love to live a normal life with leash walks and lots of new adventures

Hi, my name is: Chewbacca
I am a: maltese mix
I weigh: 12 lbs
I wa birn 2/12/2016
My Adoption Fee is: $450
My History: I was rescued by animal control from a home that had way to many dogs in it. I was taken to the shelter along with all my friends and many rescues came forward to help us all. The kind folks at Valhalla Rescue took me and 3 of my friends so that they could help us find forever homes that could spend more time with us.
My Health: when I was found I had dozens and dozens of ticks on me so the vet and my foster home spent a lot of time getting me all cleaned and pretty. I was just recently altered and I have all my vaccines updated. I am ready to find my forever home.
About me and what I need: since I spent most of my life in a home with way too many friends I am a little shy in my new life situation. I am a little timid around humans because I did not have a lot of interaction with them but I really like to follow my foster Mama around and I am starting to really appreciate pets and times that she spends letting me sit on her lap.
The best home for me: I would really like to have a home with other dogs or even a cat in it and I will be good around older kids. Younger kids are okay too but their activity scares me a lot and I like to hide out so maybe it is best for me to not be around them while I am learning about the whole world. If they want to visit me occasionally that would be wonderful but I would like a home where I can spend lots of time with my humans and learn about the good things in life.

Hi, my name is: TINK
I am a: BUG. A boston terrier/pug mix
I weigh: 22 lbs
My Birthday is: 4/15/16
My Adoption Fee is: $450
My History: I was in a wonderful home, but sadly i am way to energetic for.my disabled owner. It broke her heart but she made the decision that it was best for me to find a home that was better suited for my high energy level . The kind folks at Valhalla Rescue agreed to help me find the right home for me so now I am accepting applications for my next family.
My Health: I was just recently spayed but other than that I am in great health
About me and what I need: like I said earlier I am high-energy so I really need a home that can keep up with me. I would love to go for walks and have other dogs to play with. I get bored when I have no one to interact with and then I can be a little high-strung when my people get home. I do need some continued training to learn what’s appropriate and even though I am great with kids, because of my energy level I may jump and hurt small ones. So I might not be appropriate for a home with infants or young toddlers in it.

My Adoption Fee is: $375
My History: I was rescued from an abandoned home by the kind folks at Valhalla Rescue, and I am looking for my forever home. My past is unknown. I enjoy walks amd exploring and need a secure yard and alert people to keep me from running out the door to wildly explore my world I would love a home with either a senior or with a large family that has people around.

Hi my name is Chunk and I am an American Bulldog, Staffordshire mix. I am known as an AMERICAN BULLY.
I am a short dog, but I weigh over 75 lbs. I was recently surrendered to Valhalla Rescue with my friend, when my people moved and could not take me with them. I am friendly with other dogs that are friendly with me, but i do better with girl dogs. I love people, but I do need a little slow introduction because before I came in to rescue I spent my entire life in a fenced backyard with little interaction with new people. But I do love the way everybody’s been so nice to me and it only takes me a couple minutes to warm up to you

The rescue has really helped me come a long way. I had yeast infections in my ears and on my skin, I had bad eye lids called entropia which is common for the breed, they neutered me and gave me all my vaccines. I am doing so much better now and I’m ready to find my new forever home. I’ve been okay with cats so far but no one has left me alone with them yet and I like kids but sometimes I can get a little excited and may knock one over because I weigh so much.

My adoption fee is $300 and it helps to ensure that Valhalla Rescue can continue to help dogs like me. A wonderful group of people dedicated to helping dogs with medical conditions get the treatments they need and then find their forever homes. Without them I would still be in bad condition in someone’s backyard.

If you are interested in adopting me visit their website and submit an online application. Www.valhallarescue.org. you can also call them at 360-523-4059 for more information.

Hi! My name is Carl and I am a Greyhound and Pointer mix just waiting for a home of my own. I am so happy Valhalla Rescue could take me into their care after I arrived at a local shelter with two severely broken legs. I am all fixed up now, and desperately looking to join a family that will appreciate all the love, devotion, affection, and entertainment I can offer.

I am a sight hound and would do well with a family that has hound experience. I want to be active, but with all the pins and plates in my body, I need to be with a family that will help me make sure I do not overdo it. My adoption fee is $250. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay and neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org and fill out an adoption application. One of our adoption coordinators will review your application, and then contact you. Our adoption process includes an in person home check which you will need to complete before we set up an appointment to meet this dog or any of the other dogs in our rescue.

Hi! My name is Chance and I am a Mastiff and American Bulldog mix. I had a rough start in life, but I am now adjusting to living with my foster family. Someone found me along a dirt road in Colorado. I was very timid at first, probably because I was mistreated. I was dirty, skinny, and starving. Now that I get lots of love, I am warming up to people, but can be kind of protective around my food. I continue to make strides though, and everyone says I would do really well in a family environment since I get along so well with kids. Probably because I have as much energy as they do!

I would do best in an active family that will continue my socialization, and will help me learn basic manners such as leash, kennel, and potty training. I love to play outdoors and have a lot of energy. I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Everyone tells me the perfect family is out there somewhere….could it be with you?

My adoption fee is $175. If you are interested in meeting me, please call my foster mom Cara directly. She can be reached at 720-209-8583.

Please note: Valhalla Canine Rescue has not evaluated this dog and makes no guarantees about its physical or mental state. We are hosting this ad as a courtesy. Question should be routed directly to Cara, as listed above. Thank you.

Hi! My name is CJ and I am looking for a home of my own. I had a home and person of my own for almost my whole life. My former owner, a single senior woman, passed away and I am pretty broken hearted about the whole ordeal. I am currently safe in the rescue, but it is a little loud, and a little too much action for me to be comfortable. I would love a quiet, calm home of my own.

I am about 11 years old, and am a pretty mellow dog that would love to find a couch to lay around and relax on. I would do best with a quiet person or family without kids and without a lot of action. I am working on getting comfortable with other people, but will probably need some time to adjust to a new family.

I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at http://www.valhallarescue.org/adopt/ and fill out an adoption application.

Hi! My name is Scooter and I am an American Bully. Yes, that is a real breed, and if you would like to learn more about this breed, please visit http://theabkcdogs.org/home/breeds/american-bully/

Some friends of our rescue found me in a parking lot, where I was probably dumped. I was hungry, dehydrated, and confused. Unfortunately, I was also dragging my hind legs around, leaving my poor little body all full of road rash. The good folks at Valhalla immediately took me in and nursed me slowly back to health. After a ton of medical attention, including surgical removal of an aggressive tumor and subsequent cancer treatment, I am in remission and doing really well. Just like with humans in remission, nobody knows if the cancer will return or not. One thing we ALL know is that I am ready for a home of my own!

It has been a long road to recovery, but I am finally ready for a home of my own, and I am oh so deserving. Despite my questionable past, I am one of the most loving, affectionate dogs you will meet. I have a lot of fans, and am finally ready to leave the rescue for a home of my own.

I do okay with most dogs, but I really do best with females. I would do best in a home without cats, and with people who will keep me well socialized. I just love people and would do great in a family environment. I am crate trained, and could use continued work on my house training. I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and can be microchipped before going home with you Do you have room in your heart and home for me?

My adoption fee is $300. I would love a family or single person to call my own. I am a very nice boy, and I get along great with people. I love children, and I do well with large dogs. I would be best in a home without small dogs because I have a strong prey drive. I’m sweet, affectionate, and I really love attention and affection from my humans. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and I’m doing better each day. I’m food motivated, so bribing me with treats has helped me excel in my training. Everyone says I’m a GREAT looking dog and I’ve got the personality to match. As an added bonus, I’m fully house trained and crate trained.

Hi! My name is Buddy and I am a handsome male Golden Retriever mix. I weigh about 70 pounds. Farm living is definitely the life for me, land spreading out far and wide. Keep Seattle, just give me that open countryside.

I am a very good boy. I am perfect in the house, housebroken and well behaved. I just don’t want to be cooped up all day with city living. Life on a leash is not for me. I need to run free. I’m very athletic and love to run, so need strong, secure fencing to keep me from exploring too far. I love to run and play fetch.

Since I was abandoned and left alone I am a little on the thin side, but am eating well and gaining weight. I’ll likely put on several more pounds now that I’m being fed and exercised regularly. I prefer a grain free diet since I do have some skin issues and like being spoiled with medicated baths. I should also tell you I need to be on flea medicine all year. I’m allergic to fleas and if one bites me I get all itchy and chew until I get hot spots.

I’m looking for a forever home that will appreciate and welcome all the love and kisses I have to give. I do need a good mix of relaxation and exercise. I can be selective about male dogs, but having a fur sister to run around with would be great. I will am neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $275. Hi! My name is Nene and I am the prettiest, most lovable, sweet, and gentle American Staffordshire Terrier you will ever meet. I love all people, even children, and I do great with other dogs. I am certainly a Valhalla Rescue favorite, and nobody can figure out why I have not found a family to love me and spoil me. I have SO much love to give, I just need somebody to take a chance on me.

I am a well behaved dog, and I am happy to be wherever my people are. I like lounging on the couch as well as going for walks and playing with my dog and human friends. I do have some separation anxiety and tend to get into mischief if I am left alone for long periods of time. I am also an escape artist and can easily get out of standard crates. This is why the rescue recommends I have a special crate that will keep me safe when my humans are not home.

Hi! My name is Benny and I am a pit bull mix looking for a home of my own. I had a family of my own but was recently returned to the rescue. I am safe and comfortable here, but would really love to have my very own home and family again.

I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $225. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org/ourdogs/adoptable and fill out an adoption application.

My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay or neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the shelter, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

Hi! My name is Snoopy and I am a Cattle Dog and Pointer mix waiting for a home of my own. I have been at the Rescue since birth, although I am not sure why nobody has chosen me to join their family. I am a great dog and I really want to please humans.

I am a happy dog, and great with other dogs and children. I love car rides and walks, and could definitely use continued leash training. I would do well with an active family that will continue my socialization. A fenced yard and lots of activity would help me remain a mellow, well-adjusted dog. No cats here at the rescue, so I would do best it a home without any.

I am house trained, and would do best in a home that could let me out for a potty break during the day. I am working on my crate training, and the rescue strongly recommends that continue. I am still young, so could possibly get into trouble if left unattended for long periods of time. I am up to date on all my vaccinations, and can be microchipped before going home with you.

My adoption fee is $275. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the shelter, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Once our adoption coordinator receives and approves your application (which includes an in-person home check), they will contact you to set up an appointment to meet me or any of the other dogs in the rescue.

Hi! My name is Diamond and I am a female American Pitbull Terrier. I weigh about 65 pounds. Diamond in the rough, yep, that’s what they call me. At one time, people even thought I was deaf, but I’m not. I could hear them, I just didn’t want to listen. I went to work with a trainer for a bit who taught me some hand signals but when they found out I could hear they stopped. I really liked working with people, and enjoyed my training, and I think I would start paying attention if someone would work closely with me or continue with my training

I really don’t care for other animals, so no need to set up play-dates or take me to the dog park. I do like people though, and love kids and even babies. I am definitely a people dog!

I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $250. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org/ourdogs/adoptable and fill out an adoption application.

Hi! My name is Magick and I a very sweet girl looking for a home of my own. Look at this adorable face, how could you say turn me down? Unfortunately, I have been waiting a long time for my forever home since many people pass me up simply because I am black, I am a Pit Bull, and I do not do well with other dogs. I am currently safe in the rescue, which is nice and comfortable, but I sure would prefer a home and a family to call my own.

While I need to go to a home where I will be the only dog, I am well behaved in public around other dogs. I have a TON of great traits to offer my new family. I know all my basic commands, like sit, stay, and down. I am house trained, crate trained, and I am very well behaved. I am excellent at playing fetch, and am totally dedicated to my people. I love to go for car rides too. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give, and would love to go to a family that wants me to spend the rest of my life knowing what it feels like to be loved, safe, and protected.

I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $200. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org/ourdogs/adoptable and fill out an adoption application.

Hi! My name is Nala and I am looking for a home of my own. You see, I once had a family and home to call my own, until a thing called foreclosure happened, and my family couldn’t take me with them. So here I am. I am currently safe in the rescue, which is nice and comfortable, but I sure would prefer a home and a family to call my own. Valhalla Rescue is going to help me find my forever home.

Don’t let my age fool you. I LOVE to run around and play Frisbee. If you are active and you can keep up with me, we just might be a great match. I would love someone to run with and tire me out. I must admit I like running the show. I am a little bit bossy, but I really love to please humans so if you are willing to help socialize me and help me understand I don’t always need to be the Alpha, you might be the person for me.

I tend to be pushy and selective with other dogs, and I do not like pitbulls for some reason. I am not good with cats either, I just want to chase and bite them. As far as those small humans go, I would be best with kids age 10 and older, only because I tend to jump up when I’m excited and might knock them over.

I am housetrained, and learning that being in a crate sometimes is not so bad. I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $150. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org/ourdogs/adoptable and fill out an adoption application.
